BCAC’s work is expanded by an active working collaborative composed of parents, students, community leaders, service providers, and government representatives known as the Social Policy and Advocacy Committee (SPAC). The charge of SPAC is to bring about positive change for Bridgeport’s children and families in a cohesive, manageable way. SPAC members will work together on: research and data gathering, community planning, community education, advocacy, and community mobilization.”
