COMMUNITY CLOSET

The LifeBridge Community Closet is a space where families can access clothing, personal care items and linens that help aid their effort to move forward in their lives. It reopened in March 2019 after needed renovations led by the strong desire of CEO Alan Mathis to make it an uplifting and empowering space for LifeBridge clients. We will not accept referrals from other community organizations at this time.

Basic Needs

The Community Closet serves our clients in need. The closet offers gently used clothing for men, women, and children free of charge. LifeBridge clients are eligible to shop in the Community Closet. We will not accept referrals from other community organizations at this time.

Community Closet Donations
Community Closet donations may be made on Tuesdays between 2:30 pm – 5:00 pm and Wednesdays between 9:30 am and noon. When making a donation please park in a legal spot, say hello to our receptionist and let him or her know you’d like to make a donation, pick up a cart from the Community Closet (if available – sometimes during high activity times there may be a wait for carts), take the cart to your car, pack the donations and bring them downstairs. A Community Closet volunteer will offer you a receipt at the end of making your donation. If interested in contributing to our community by volunteering in the Community Closet, please be sure to ask for a volunteer application.

On a hygiene and quality note — please consider quality of goods being donated to be in line with those that would be taken to a consignment or resale shop. We appreciate all donations being laundered and dropped off in a way that allows us to make them quickly available to clients. Items we accept are limited to clothing, belts, jewelry and shoes. We will not turn away toys and games that are complete and in good condition, but for the sake of keeping the community closet organized and providing shoppers with what they need most — good quality clothing is our biggest priority. Thank you!

From 7/17/19 – 8/15/19 we will be collecting new backpacks and school supplies for the 2019 Back to School Drive.
